class is suitable for both beginners and students that have attended
any of the beads and wire courses
You will be
creating jewellery with beads, tigertail thread and plated components
Morning
- Brief intro
to the tools we will be using, tigertail threads and crimps
- Intro to
using tigertail thread to create a pair of beaded earrings and
practise using crimps
- Intro to
using tigertail thread to create a beaded bracelet and how to
finish off using crimps and fasteners, followed by practise session
- Intro to
making crimped bead section tigertail necklace, followed by practise
session
- Completing
unfinished jewellery items
- Intro to
other types of jewellery courses on offer and course feedback
The
3 hour course includes:
some demos, examples, some handouts, opportunity for questions and
answers, practical work and 1-1 tutor assistance.

Materials are
available and can be purchased on the course (approx £4 -
£8, depending on the beads chosen) or you are welcome to bring
any of your own materials with you.
