a beginner level class. But, it is also suitable for continuing
students wishing to practise their basic loops further*
You will be
creating jewellery with beads, wire, jump rings, hoops, chain and
plated components
Morning
- Intro to
the tools, beads and components
- Intro to
the technique used to create a basic loop
- Intro to
making a basic pair of earrings using components and beads
- Intro to
making a pair of multi-section earrings using wire, components
and beads
- Intro to
using jump rings
- Intro to
further multi-section earring designs
- Intro to
making bracelet designs incorporating pieces of chain, bead sections
and jump rings
Afternoon
- Intro to
making different types of multi-section necklace designs incorporating
beads, chains and hoops
- Intro to
further multi-section jewellery designs
- Opportunity
to work further on any of the designs that have been covered during
the day
- Completing
any unfinished piece of jewellery
- Intro to
other types of jewellery courses on offer and course feedback
The
day course includes:
many demos, examples, some handouts, opportunity for questions and
answers, practical work and 1-1 tutor assistance.
*continuing
students: after practising making loops in the morning you will
move onto creating some multi-loop earring designs, instead of basic
earrings. |
