class venues 2011 |

| The
bebeady classes are held at interesting venues in Lancashire.
1-day
courses
The main venue
for the bebeady 1-day classes is in the Pig Barn
classroom at Cedar Farm.
I have been
looking for other venues to run the bebeady 1-day jewellery making
classes around the Preston area and am running a few classes in
2011 at Barton Grange Garden
Centre in Brock, north of Preston.

| Cedar
Farm
Cedar Farm is
beautiful, its situated in the countryside location of Mawdesley,
Lancashire and is approx. 10 minutes drive from the villages of
Eccleston, Croston, Rufford and Parbold.
The venue has
good parking and the classroom has tea / coffee making facilites.
At lunchtime students can either bring along sandwiches to eat in
the room or eat out at the lovely cafe-restaurant or coffee bar.
During the lunch break or after the class, there are a number of
talented arts/crafts studio galleries to visit and also some bespoke
shops. The Pig Barn classroom is lovely, lots of natural light and
ample room to give everyone enough space.

Barton
Grange Garden Centre
The gorgeous
garden centre was newly built in 2008 and features award winning
displays, it has a beautiful location and is located to the North
of Preston, the M6 and is convenient if you are travelling to the
class from Garstang, Lancaster, the Lakes or Blackpool and the Fylde
coast.
The venue has
good parking and although the classroom doesn't have access to tea/coffee
making facilities and students aren't able to bring their own food/drinks
along (apart from water). There is a riverside cafe (and restaurant)
with cakes and puddings freshly made onsite at the bakery and also
from Lathoms of Broughton. During the lunch break or after the class,
take a stroll around the garden centre or do a bit of shopping.

| If
I can find the right classrooms and venues, I would like to run some
bebeady jewellery making courses in North Lancashire / South Lakes
area, Fylde area or the Greater Manchester area. Please contact me
if you know of any classrooms in Art/Craft related venues or historic
buildings, with good parking facilities, tea & coffee making facilities,
toilets. Thanks Samantha |
